The drum beat begins with some light cymbals, a couple crashes and then some light kick drum with snare played with brushes. The groove is very syncopated, with lots of kick and snare hits on up beats. The groove switches between hi-hat and ride, with some crashes and splashes in between, all played with brushes. The same basic feel is kept throughout, though fills and hits become more numerous as the drum track goes on. It ends with a few bars of groove and a fill after a brief cymbal interlude.
