This drum track has a swinging groove reminiscent of Jet and Iggy Pop. The intro is played with toms before breaking into a hi-hat groove, first open and then closed for a verse. The same pattern played with a ride cymbal makes the chorus. Quick fills are inserted every so often. There is a breakdown with just the hi-hat for a few bars, then the tom-tom groove returns before heading back into the hi-hat beat. A little over 2 minutes in, the beat switches solely to the toms for a few bars.
