This track starts with a pattern that includes the kick mostly on off beats and the snare only hitting on beat four with a closed hi-hat. This simmers down to a similar pattern that replaces the snare with a rim click on the fourth beat of every other bar. After a few embellishments, the clicks happen in every bar before a snare fill brings back the snare drum hits. Accents on the hi-hat characterize the groove, which gives way to a quieter pattern involving rim clicks on beats two and four, and soon after snare hits on the same beats. The original beat returns until things quiet down with a ride cymbal and rim clicks, building into a louder ride/snare groove, which later includes some fancy hi-hat embellishments before quieting back down for the end.
