You're doing fine. You're cool. And then love comes in. Your heart races and it feels like someone just turned up the heat. That's what this song is about. The initial groove features some nice work on a big, snappy snare, tight kick drum and closed hi-hats, accented with the crash cymbal. This carries on for a few measures until a snare/toms fill transitions us into an intense second part that almost seems to increase in tempo-- a trick played on the ears by the ride cymbal. The intensity builds until you almost can't take it, then returns to the first part adding a few subtle variations and interesting fills on the toms. There is a rest at 1:58, and then we're back in it, with stuttering snare and hi-hats for another go around, until it all ends where it started.
