Love can take its time, and you have to be patient -- that's what this track is all about. A slow and steady burn that opens with a live-wire snare: nice and loud with just the right amount of low-end to give it a tight, punchy feel. The kick drum is thick and bassy, and the crisp hats/ride cymbal round out the hi end. It's a somewhat minimalist, but perfectly balanced track that's full of quiet intensity. Changes come from slow rolls on the toms, relaxed snare rolls, and the dynamic interplay between the cymbals. A breakdown at 2:22 to the hats, then the kick and cross sticking on the snare work their way back into the mix, gradually transitioning back to the full-on snare shots from the beginning. From there, the track builds intensity by adding big cymbals until a quick rest at 4:06 when it drops back down and ends with a toms fill and a wash of cymbals.
