It's all about the brushes on this track. A quick lead-in on the snare/crash and then the song dives right into an up-tempo alt-country shuffle, with the cymbals adding texture, and fills coming primarily from the toms. A very nuanced track with changes coming in the form of dynamics, especially with the snare - the drummer at times pulls back for a softer sound, while hitting heavier at other times. There is also a slight bass overtone on the kick which blends well with the brushes, and lots of short rests. Quick and fun with lots of possibilities-- if you build it, they will dance!
