This track starts out with some simple hi-hat hits in half note intervals with a little open hi-hat hit on the "and" of beat four. About 50 seconds in, the beat kicks into full gear with a big, slow, straight rock beat complete with some ghost notes and an 8th note hi-hat groove. This continues along with some tasteful fills as the hi-hat opens slightly a couple minutes into the track. Just before the 3 minute mark, the beat comes down and the drummer plays rim clicks on beats 2, 3 and 4. The beat drops out momentarily, and the big groove from before returns. The track closes out with the solo hi-hat of the introduction.
