A drum roll on the snare starts this track off, and then quickly drops into a tight kick/cross-stick/hi-hat groove. Variations come in the form of the cross-sticking pattern, adding various cymbals and occasionally pulling out the full-on tight sounding snare with perfectly executed slow rolls that disappears into the sound of the splash cymbal. There is a breakdown at 2:30 to just the kick drum, punctuated by the snare and hats until a run on the toms brings us back to the groove, and rides it until the end of the song. Very laid back, in-the-pocket track.
