This track is played in a 3/4 feel, but it doesn't sound like a waltz. Rather, it sounds like a pop or rock song, with a big snare sound and a simple kick/snare pattern. There are some fills to decorate it and the beat drops out briefly once, but overall the track sticks to the same basic feel with the closed hi-hat for most of the first half. Then, the pattern switches to the ride cymbal for a few bars before a quick break gives way back to the original groove. Another big cymbal/snare fill brings the ride cymbal back just as before. The track ends with the original pattern.
