A kick and snare beat starts this track off, with the kick playing eighth notes and the snare keeping a back beat, plus a cymbal emphasis on the "and" of beat 2. It goes into a slight variation with some tom fills, drops out momentarily then comes storming back in with a loud beat filled with crash cymbals and more off-beat emphases. It returns to the verse rhythm with a louder low tom sounding more present this time around. A bridge section comes in a little over 2 minutes into the track, with a four on the floor bass drum, some ride cymbal and soon light snare taps that build back into the main groove.
