Building up with snare and kick drum 8th notes in the intro, this goes into a moderately played, retro-sounding groove with the snare hits on "two and" and four. Hi-hat and ride switch off between sections, and light, simple fills and embellishments are scattered here and there. Though played relatively lightly, the snare is fat and full sounding througout, and sometimes hits some ghost notes to fill out the sound. A fill slowly retards at the end to close out the drum track.
