A light 16th note groove on the hi-hat and some cross stick on the 2 and 4. A kick played here and there. This drum track is mellow, quiet, and laid back at the beginning. A snare replaces the rim clicks and a ride cymbal replaces the hi-hat. The bass drum appears a little more often, and sometimes the snare beat drops out momentarily for effect. For the bridge, the ride only plays quarter notes and the kick drum plays under the snare in addition to its normal pattern. After a quiet final section, a fill ends the drum beat.
