A slow and soft backbeat starts this drum track out. The beat drops for a moment, then a soft snare roll brings it back. Occasionally the hi-hat opens up on the "and" of beat four. A simple fill gives way to a chorus that features the ride cymbal. The verse returns to the hi-hat, and the groove stays simple with only a few fills and breaks, nothing flashy. These two sections alternate until about 3:07 when a bridge comes in featuring a gentle, march-like snare rolling groove. There is a moment of silence before the chorus returns and takes the drum beat to the end.
