Heavy, down tempo rock. It starts with a kick/snare backbeat featuring a lot of pounding ride cymbal. Right from the beginning this track has a real "loose but tight" feel to it-- like it could fall off the rails at any moment, but it never does. There is a breakdown to a rest at 00:34 that is soon punctuated with kick and crash, until a fill on the toms brings it back to the first part. At 1:10 another breakdown, continues this pattern - breaking down and then returning to the groove, but with the fills extending and becoming more intricate as the track progresses, adding toms and cymbals into the mix, and variations of rhythm. The end showcases an extended outro with a cymbal wash to complete the track with a big finish. Straight ahead, no nonsense rock n' roll.
