This song opens with a single hi-hat solo until the kick comes in at 00:36, it builds up to a short rest at 00:51, then the song drops into a heavy groove, picking up the snare and ride cymbal along the way, and featuring fills on the toms/snare/cymbals. A fill on the toms sends us back to a reprise of the solo hi-hat, and we build again, with variations on the kick and ride. This continues until a rest at 3:03, followed by a few bullet shots on the snare, and then we're into a third build-up, adding more tight fills and interesting variations with the kick/snare/ride. At the peak the song ends, stopping on a dime.
