This track doesn't waste any time, diving right into a funky kick/ snare/hats rhythm featuring a panned toms run on every measure, and the snare/kick sometimes hitting on the off-beat. At 1:02 a quick rest transitions the song into a straight driving kick/snare/hats backbeat. The toms run is gone during this part, but it picks up accents on the splash cymbal. At 1:24, another short rest brings it back to the first part with additional fills on the snare/kick and toms, then it’s back to the driving urgency of the second part at 2:02. Midway through the track there is a breakdown to the snare, which picks up a toms fill after a couple of measures before transitioning back to the funky first part. From here, it trades back and forth a couple of more times, ending on the first groove with a quick run on the snare.
