This is an upbeat drum track that starts out with a back beat that has a swing dance feel to it. The beat stays steady and simple, and at one point switches from hi-hat to ride cymbal for a change of sections. There are some simple fills here and there, but overall the groove remains stripped down without anything extraneous. At about 2:10, the beat drops out to just hi-hat and the occasional kick drum hit for about twenty seconds. The original beat returns and stays till the end of the drum track.
