Here is an upbeat groove with a very hard-hit snare. It starts out with a backbeat, then we just have some hi-hat and kick drum. The snare returns about 30 seconds in, and the pattern falls right into a good rock pocket. About a minute in, the crash cymbal brings up the dynamics for a chorus section, and a fill brings us back to the verse, with a slight syncopated variation of the snare pattern. After an extended chorus, the beat breaks down to just kick and hi-hat for a few bars before getting back into the verse variation drum beat. The next chorus includes a big triplet fill, and the track stays big to the end.
