This has an unusual intro for a rock track, with some tom grooving and what sounds to be the snare drum with the snare off. About 50 seconds in, you can hear the drummer turn the snare back on, and a funky little cross stick section starts out with some light hi-hat and kick drum. The drum beat goes from quiet to medium, as the snare kicks in with some ghost notes keeping it groovy. A ride cymbal adds some variation. Overall the dynamic is pretty low among the sections and this drum track is laid back.
