This track busts right into a pop/rock groove that sounds straight out of the '80s. It's straight ahead rock with a closed hi-hat and basic kick/snare pattern. Besides the occasional cymbal hit and small embellishment here and there, most of the first minute is very simple and straightforward. A little over a minute in, there are a few cymbal crashes and a fill leading into a quick break before the beat comes back in as before. Most of the fills are simple 8th note-based snare fills with crashes. The break returns around the 2:20 mark. A cymbal breakdown occurs towards the 3 minute mark, which goes back into the straight beat through the end.
