The classic, jazzy sound of brushes define this track. A punchy kick drum holds it all together while the brushes work the snare and hats for an up-tempo backbeat groove, giving the track a lush, full-sounding retro vibe. Nice natural reverb adds to the depth, while variations some in the form of kick/snare rhythm change-ups and accents on the ride and splash cymbals. At two points during the song there is a breakdown to the brushes working their magic on the hats, but then it's all in for a big finish to end the track in swinging style.
