Reminiscent of Chad Smith, this drum beat is played hard and funky with snare hits on some off beats and a big, open hi-hat which closes up for the verse. Ghost notes and embellishments keep the verses groovy while the chorus has ride cymbal and is a slight bit more straightforward. An interlude is based around some tom action with some cymbal hits here and there to decorate it. The drum track closes out with the main groove under a ride cymbal.
